Intro to Passport Issuers

Quadrata Passport Issuers are authorized centralized companies that collect, verify and attest to information about an entity (individuals or businesses) inside the Quadrata Passport.

Responsibilities

Passport Issuers have the responsibilities to:

• Collect information (ex: PII) from an entity (individuals or businesses)

• Verify the information

• Attest to the verification inside the Quadrata Passport

• (Optionally) Provide on-going monitoring

• Store the information securely

Incentives / Business Model

Passport issuers are collecting fees on:

• issuance of the information (100% of the fee)

• each time the information is queried by a smart contract (fee split with the protocol)
