# Querying Attributes

Once a Quadrata Passport has been issued for a wallet account, attributes within the passport can be queried by all DApps. A fee is incur every time an attribute is queried from a smart contract. This [fee](/passport-issuer/additional-information/passport-attributes.md) will be split between the issuer themselves and Quadrata.
